The 13th of march was a special day in Sedes Sapientiae, as the Indian seminarians hosted a Night titled “Namaste India,” a captivating event showcasing the cultural diversity and heritage of India. The evening featured a cultural exhibition that highlighted India's traditional attire, linguistic variety, political and demographic details, scientific achievements, and contributions of Indian Catholic saints. A notable part of the display was a collection of Bibles in different Indian languages, reflecting the country's rich linguistic and religious diversity. Following the exhibition, there was also a delicious dinner with Indian cuisine, including porotta, offering a taste of India's culinary flavors.
The event continued with a gathering session where the seminarians shared insights about Indian languages, culture, music, and traditions, accompanied by an enchanting dance performance. Adding an interactive element, a photo competition invited seminarians from other nations to wear traditional Indian attire, fostering cultural exchange and camaraderie. The evening was a resounding success, leaving attendees with a deeper appreciation of India's vibrant culture and a sense of unity through shared experiences.
