Congratulations, Rutilos!

On Sunday 20 November, the Solemnity of Christ the King, the Diocese of Damongo (Ghana) had the joy of having a new deacon at the service of the people of God. He is Rutilos Logyaa, a former student of Sedes Sapientiae (2019-2022), who was ordained after a period of pastoral work on his return from Rome.

The diocese of Damongo was established in 1995, covers an area of 23,342 km2 and has about 30,500 Catholics served by 40 priests: the number of faithful has doubled since 1999. With these numbers it is easy to imagine that Rev. Rutilos has a lot of work ahead of him. We wish him well in his ministry and promise him our prayers.
