Beautiful oriental melodies filled the chapel of our college in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 24th. And it was a Eucharistic celebration, celebrated in the Syro-Malabar rite and presided over by S.E. Mar Tony Neelankavil, auxiliary bishop of the Trichur archie in India; in which three of our companions, Tom Malaickal, Frijo Francis and Melvin Paul were ordained sub-deacons. All of them belong to the Syro-Malabar Church. Besides us, there were also many priests, friends, nuns and families known during the periods of pastoral work, who attended to share the moment of joy with us. After the Eucharistic celebration, we spend some moments of conviviality in the courtyard of our college where a light refreshment was served to celebrate our three new sub-deacons in the Syro-Malabar Church. We thank the Lord for giving us this beautiful day and for the universality of the Church while praying for holy vocations in his Church. Greetings to our new sub-deacons!
