On Sunday, January 14, 2024, the seminarians and priests of Sedes Sapientiae gathered to celebrate the Holy Mass in thanksgiving for the priestly ordination of Fr. Xavery Binyoga, conferred on July 27, 2023, by Mons. Joseph Mlola, Bishop of the Diocese of Kigoma (Tanzania).
Fr. Xavery Binyoga completed his formation at the Sedes Sapientiae seminary between 2018 and 2021. For him, this seminary was a significant period in his vocational growth: hence, the Holy Mass was a moment filled with gratitude and emotion for both him and all present.
In his homily, Fr Xavery highlighted three key words: vocation, being with Jesus, and mission. Currently, Fr Xavery is completing his third year of studies for a degree in Liturgy at the Pontifical Athenaeum of St. Anselm here in Rome. We pray for him to continue being a faithful witness of God's love in the world.
